When Anxiety Stirkes - What Do You Do?
ANXIETY STRIKES
It was a warm day, and I just wanted to party with my cousin in Los Angelos for the weekend. You see, it had been a week of stress, with my husband, kids, and just life all around and I needed a break.
I got on the plane from my hometown San Antonio and jetted to my layover city which happens to be Phoenix. As soon as the plane started to descend so did my breathing, so did my mobility and so many other functions you kind of need when a plane is landing.
I wasn't aware that at this very moment I was having a panic attack probably stimulated from all that stress. I spent a career in the Air Force so flying wasn't scary nor foreign to me.
The fear of dying, the not being able to move or breath, the feeling that you are going to throw up your whole guts ALL on an airplane is not a fun one.
Yes, there are coping skills that can help with anxiety disorders and or panic attacks. The biggest one is breathing properly and not hallucinating.
There are so many other techniques and medicines that work for some and don't work for others, so it's kind of a trial and error for your body chemistry.
I continued to have frightening panic attacks for the next 3 months.
As I was doing research online one day, I came across a Panic Miracle that was a holistic approach to manage your panic attack.
All of this can lead to massive social anxiety where you will not want to interact with large crowds or even go out for that matter.
However, I found a system that will help you gain all this back and be more confident in who you are with no more negative thoughts.
